Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man sows, that shall he also reap. Galatians 6:7
… he makes his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. Matthew 5:45
It appears that Barack Obama’s methods of ‘governance by enemies and division’ may finally be bearing the fruits of those very seeds.
The scandals of the past several weeks seem to be growing in scope and intensity, as well as in the number of scandals being surfaced.
The IRS targeting conservative & Tea Party organizations and individuals.
The Justice Department subpoena of telephone records of Associated Press reporters and editors.
The apparent Bengasi cover-up, and it’s link to the 2012 campaign.
The Fast and Furious gun running program.
And others …
But these scandals are unlikely to result in serious consequences for the most diabolically brilliant con-man we have seen, at least in my lifetime. As Rush Limbaugh has so eloquently stated in his “Limbaugh Theorem”, the president positions himself beyond the responsibilities and accountability of the very problems he himself has perpetrated … and then mounts the great white horse and goes on the attack against the very problems of his doing, and all the while gathering support unto himself. Brilliant … diabolically brilliant.
Barack Obama has cast the seeds of ‘enemies and division’ far and wide, beginning with his run for the presidency in 2006. His demonization of George W. Bush, though not unique among Democratic challengers for the presidency, set the stage for a continual demonization of Bush which continues to this day. What’s especially noteworthy is that this demonization was against the very policies that Obama has continued, and even enhanced in his own presidency.
The casting of seeds of destruction began in earnest with the Obama election victory and his onslaught against all manner of business interests: the corporate jet owners (remember the auto executives flying from Detroit to Washington?) The greedy “fat cat” bankers; the constant attacks against the greedy 1% who weren’t paying their fair share; the doctors who were choosing amputation and unnecessary procedures in order to collect more Medicare money; unscrupulous insurance companies; the demonization of the Tea Party and the tacit encouragement of his minions to call them Tea Baggers and worse … terrorists; his demanding of more tax revenue from small business owners; the constant demonization of millionaires and billionaires … and more.
The casting of these seeds of destruction continues with the Obamacare attack on religion in which churches are to be forced to provide abortifacients and contraceptive means which run counter to the beliefs of these churches (I myself am not Catholic). We’ve had the spectacle of Sandra Fluke, a graduate student at Georgetown University (a Catholic institution) demanding that student health insurance cover contraception to levels sufficient to meet the needs of a full time prostitute. Then there is the spectacle of Catholic adoption agencies closing because of their stand against adoption to homosexual couples.
We have the President of the United States in full vocal support of the homosexual agenda, including same sex marriage; and in effect demonizing those who support and honor the traditional definition of marriage as being the union of one man with one woman.
We have the President of the united States turning his back on the nation Israel and pressing a return to the indefensible borders of 1948 … borders called the Auschwitz borders for good reason.
We have a President who has abandoned a wide swath of nations from Afghanistan to Tunisia to Islamic extremists whose end goal is the total annihilation of the Jews and Christians.
The seeds of divisiveness sewn by this man are widespread and cover the spectrum from race hatred to economic class hatred to religious division to sexual confusion and even to the time honored tradition and sacrament of marriage.
These sinister seeds will indeed sprout and grow to fruition. There is no way they cannot. And there is no way they will sprout into beautiful summer bouquets. And this man who lives and Lords in this manner will likewise fall in this manner; cast off in a cocoon of his own making having no allies and no friends but many enemies … enemies from those he has chosen to make enemies of … a man without a country, despised by many and from all political and spiritual directions.
As the proverb says … the rain will fall on the just and on the unjust. This nation, and perhaps the world is suffering, and will suffer from the windblown seeds of destruction sown by this man; we just don’t know yet the full furry of the weeded fields of waste, but all will reap the whirlwind in some fashion or another.
